LinkedIn is a good platform, for networking and landing the jobs of your dreams. However, it
is important to make sure you are utilizing all of the features and benefits that it has to offer,
in order to really get the most out of the platform and make it a great experience.

A few tips to use LinkedIn effectively:
1. Create a strong profile: Use a professional profile picture, have an engaging headline
and craft a summary that highlights all your skills and experiences and who you are
as a person. Make sure to fill out all the sections in the profile section, and always
have it up to date.
2. Showcase your skills and experience: Add any types of relevant skills and
experience. This can be anything from volunteer work to courses taken, or even
certificates. This will help you stand out; of what skills you are specifically good at.
3. Build Your Network: Connect with friends, colleagues, classmates, business
professionals in the field you desire, and other industry leaders. Every time you are
at a networking event, ask to also connect on LinkedIn.
4. Engage: Post accomplishments and different events that you attended, comment
and share other people’s post, and participate in discussions. Engagement is so
important to show how active you are.
